Play with Polaroid prints while you can!
Now that Polaroid has discontinued its instant film, you might want to join me in experimenting with my limited stash…it’s not for sale, but I’ll share it with you in a one-on-one workshop while supplies last. My very best friend Judy recently tore an article for me from the NY Times entitled “A Fistful of Polaroids” describing the evocative look of Polaroid film printed past its sell-by date, the case in point resulting in a well-attended exhibit AND a published book! I teach several techniques for using instant film so it will be a Polaroid Smorgasbord of sorts…try saying that ten times! And remember, once the film is gone, it’s gone…but once you scan your Polaroid prints, you can use them in your artwork forever.
Bring: A selection of photos (6-12) on CD or portable drive (300 dpi).
Fee: $50/hr - 3 hour minimum
